Groundbreaking Scientific Review Demonstrates the Benefits of Nattokinase
(Boca Raton, FL) — Doctors from The Wellness Company announced this week that they had completed a groundbreaking new scientific review showing the benefits of nattokinase in several areas. The manuscript has been submitted for peer review to the Frontiers in Nutrition journal.
According to Dr. Peter McCullough, Chief Scientific Officer for The Wellness Company, and one of the authors of the manuscript, "This is the most comprehensive paper on Nattokinase thus far in the medical literature."
In addition to Dr. Peter McCullough, the manuscript was authored by Nicolas Hulscher, MPH, Kelly Victory, MD, Drew Pinsky, MD, James Thorp, MD, Peter Gillooly, MSc, and Harvey Risch, MD, PhD. The study represents the most comprehensive review of previously published literature and publicly available sources.
"This review confirms what we have suspected for years — that Nattokinase is the most effective way to mitigate against some of the most dangerous side effects of COVID and the COVID vaccines."
— Dr. Peter McCullough, Chief Scientific Officer, The Wellness CompanyWhat Is Nattokinase?
Nattokinase (NK) is an orally administered subtilisin-family serine protease. A subtilisin-family serine protease is a type of enzyme that cuts proteins into smaller pieces. These enzymes occur in bacteria, fungi, plants, and animals and can have very different functions. Depending on the specific enzyme, they can be involved in protein processing, digestion, cell signaling, activation of other proteins, or — in microbes — breaking down proteins in their environment or host tissues.
How Nattokinase Affects the Body
Nattokinase has been reported to affect several different biological processes that involve both protein-breaking enzymes and the cardiovascular system — including the degradation of SARS-CoV-2 spike protein, fibrinaloid amyloid microclots, fibrin clots, and classical amyloid substrates; enhancement of endogenous fibrinolysis; reductions in coagulation factors and blood pressure; and regression of carotid atherosclerotic plaque.
Reported Areas of Effect
- Degradation of SARS-CoV-2 spike protein
- Fibrinaloid amyloid microclots and fibrin clots
- Classical amyloid substrates
- Enhancement of endogenous fibrinolysis
- Reductions in coagulation factors and blood pressure
- Regression of carotid atherosclerotic plaque
Studies have detected spike protein or pieces of it in some people's blood or tissues after COVID infection and after the mRNA COVID vaccine. Persistent spike could potentially contribute to abnormal protein structures and clotting abnormalities. Additionally, research suggests spike protein can alter fibrin/fibrinogen so that it forms unusual, amyloid-like structures sometimes described as "microclots." These structures are harder for the body's normal clot-dissolving system to break apart.
"The evidence is strong that Nattokinase can break down fibrin in blood clots, certain amyloid proteins, and the SARS-CoV-2 spike protein."
— Dr. Peter McCullough, Chief Scientific Officer, The Wellness CompanyCardiovascular Effects
Nattokinase affects the cardiovascular system in several ways. It can directly break down fibrin, which is essentially the protein mesh holding a blood clot together. It may also influence some of the body's own clot-dissolving mechanisms and affect platelet activity. Human studies have reported changes in several blood-clotting measurements after taking nattokinase. There is also clinical research suggesting a reduction in blood pressure.
"Nattokinase is not only a critical tool in the effort to mitigate the impact of spike protein from both COVID and the COVID mRNA vaccines, it also demonstrates positive impacts on the cardiovascular system, including a reduction of blood pressure."
— Nicolas Hulscher, MPH"This review reveals the multiple benefits of Nattokinase, particularly as they relate to COVID related spike protein and cardiovascular health. Taken at the right dose, Nattokinase can be a valuable tool for individuals looking to prevent clots and improve cardiovascular health," concluded McCullough.
