I took the shot in 2024 and started to dread giving myself the weekly shot. They worked, albeit I found myself asking my daughter, who is a nurse, to administer the shot! Now I love the convenience of the tablets! I am 72 years old and will probably do a maintenance regime of Tirzepatide through out my seventies! I’ve been nervous taking this drug, esp as a shot. It’s been mainly because I’ve been worried about the side effects. So I felt that if I take a pill daily instead of weekly shot, I could stop faster than if it were a shot. I’m very happy w this med, it’s doing its job while I can still tolerate the side effect of constipation, which I’ve battled most of my life. Of course I’m still at the lowest dose, but I can increase at my own pace & I like that. Thank you
