The Wellness Company Responds to Politico Article Regarding Complaint Against Calley Means
(Boca Raton, FL) – Today, Politico published an article reporting on an ethics complaint filed by The Wellness Company against Special Government Employee Calley Means. In response, Peter Gillooly, CEO of The Wellness Company, issued the following statement:
I was appalled and horrified by the behavior of Calley Means, a man who I have never met before. The fact that a Federal Employee thought it was appropriate to call me out of the blue to make expletive-ridden threats, and on top of that, try to blackmail, extort and harass me for his own personal gain is behavior I NEVER thought I would witness.
I felt morally obligated to file this ethics complaint with the agencies and alert the congressional oversight committees that this gross misconduct was happening right in front of us. I ask that a thorough investigation is conducted, and appropriate actions are taken so that other companies are not victims of this criminal behavior.
I am sure that neither Secretary Kennedy nor President Trump knew anything about Calley’s illegal actions, and they have complete support of The Wellness Company as they act swiftly to remedy this situation.
Finally, the Wellness Company is not a political entity. We are a healthcare company committed to advancing personal health, public health and medical freedom. Our commitment remains to our customers and to the truth.
