Dr. Julie Ponesse, PhD

Chief of Bio-Medical Ethics for The Wellness Company Canada

From Dr. Ponesse:

"In Canada over the last few years, “health care” has felt more like an oxymoron than an institution. But it didn’t need to be that way. We can do better, we will do better, for ourselves and for our children.

I joined The Wellness Company because we need a healthcare revolution in Canada. We need to create a system that sees health as more than just a biomedical state, that addresses the whole person with utmost respect and care so that each patient can flourish according to her own goals and principles.

The Wellness Company treats the physician-patient relationship as a sacred relationship of healing in which privacy, trust and consent are paramount."
