I am honored to join The Wellness Company (TWC), our Founder Foster Coulson, Chief Executive Officer Peter Gillooly, Chief Scientific Officer Dr. Peter McCullough, and all my other colleagues and staff. We are all dedicated to serving our clients/patients in an honest,compassionate, and evidence-based manner. In contrast to nearly all the traditional healthcare systems, TWC will NEVER betray our patients/clients for money and enter unethical “cooperative care agreements” with government that mandate strict adherence to injurious and lethal protocols. As the Chief of Maternal and Pre-Natal Health I am focused on optimizing outcomes in women of reproductive age, pregnant women, preborns, and newborns. All human life begins in the womb. It has been said in medicine that an ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure. In my specialty of obstetrics this is an understatement. Regarding optimization of maternal health prior to conception and preborn life in the womb, an ounce of prevention is worth TWO TONs of cure. If we want to optimize outcomes in children, it starts in optimizing maternal health prior to conception and optimal preborn (fetal) growth and development in the womb.
About Dr. Thorp
Dr. James (Jim) Thorp is an obstetrician/gynecologist and maternal fetal medicine physician who has served his obstetrical patients for over 44 years. He was heavily influenced by Dr Semmelweis’s principles and practice in the mid-1800’s in Vienna. Dr. Thorp finished medical school at Wayne State University School of Medicine in Detroit Michigan where he received the top clinical ob/gyn -David S Diamond Award- in his class. He went on to perform his ob/gyn residency at the University of Colorado-Denver and his maternal fetal medicine fellowship at the University of Texas-Houston. He served in the United States Air Force fulfilling a Scholarship that funded his medical school education.
Dr. Thorp focused much of his career on optimizing preborn outcomes by “treating the fetus as a patient” utilizing a variety of strategies including his expertise in modifying techniques in “closed fetal surgeries”. Dr. Thorp provided testimony under the Bush Administration in the United States Senate in 2003 for his work. Though he distanced himself from fast-track academic positions that limited his independent research and funding, his clinical practice has always been very high volume. Despite his busy clinical practice throughout his career, he has been academically productive with over 250 publications. His Curriculum Vitae is available upon request.
