Introducing The Wellness Company Chief Medical Team
By Dr. Heather Gessling, MD
COO of Chief Medical Board for the The Wellness Company
We are honored to introduce The Wellness Company and their Chief Medical Team.
The Wellness Company was born out of necessity. By unequivocally and unapologetically standing up for medical freedom and the right to affordable health care, our company’s vision champions the right to make personal health choices.
The Wellness Company strives to build a new health care system that earns people’s trust, is governed and operated with transparency, and offers the highest quality practitioners who align at their core with our fundamental belief - to put the patient first.
The fabric of this company has been woven together by its medical team and their devotion to the public. Their courage and bravery in the fight for medical freedom and truth will ensure improved health outcomes. It will also contribute to convenient access to physicians and lower healthcare costs for patients. We, however, will never sacrifice the quality of services, products, or education.
To do this, we have put together an amazing team of physicians and health professionals that are the best of the best.
Dr. Peter McCullough is our Chief Scientific Officer of the Chief Medical Board. Since the outset of the pandemic, Dr. McCullough has been a leader in the medical response to the COVID-19 disaster and has published “Pathophysiological Basis and Rationale for Early Outpatient Treatment of SARS-CoV-2 (COVID-19) Infection,” the first synthesis of sequenced multidrug treatment of ambulatory patients infected with SARS-CoV-2 in the American Journal of Medicine and subsequently updated in Reviews in Cardiovascular Medicine.
Dr. McCullough is an internist and cardiologist in academic practice in Dallas, Texas, and is proud to be a part of The Wellness Company. He received his bachelor’s degree from Baylor University and then completed his medical degree as an Alpha Omega Alpha graduate from the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School. In addition, he completed his internal medicine residency at the University of Washington, cardiology fellowship including service as Chief Fellow at William Beaumont Hospital, and master’s degree in public health at the University of Michigan.
Dr. McCullough has broadly published on a range of topics in medicine with over 1000 publications and 660 citations in the National Library of Medicine. Dr. McCullough is a recipient of the Simon Dack Award from the American College of Cardiology and the International Vicenza Award in Critical Care Nephrology for his scholarship and research. His works have appeared in the New England Journal of Medicine, Journal of the American Medical Association, Lancet, British Medical Journal, and other top-tier journals worldwide. He is the editor-in-chief of Reviews in Cardiovascular Medicine and senior associate editor of the American Journal of Cardiology. He serves on the editorial boards of multiple specialty journals. Dr. McCullough has made presentations on the advancement of medicine worldwide and has been an invited lecturer at the New York Academy of Sciences, the National Institutes of Health, the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA), and the European Medicines Agency. He has served as a member or chair of data safety monitoring boards of 24 randomized clinical trials.
His work with COVID response includes 50 peer-reviewed publications on the infection, and he has commented extensively on the medical response to the pandemic in The Hill, America Out Loud Talk Radio, The McCullough Report, and on FOX, OAN, ABC, Victory Channel, and NEWSMAX Channels. In addition to testifying about COVID and the subsequent gene therapy in many legislative bodies, he also testified on Nov. 19, 2020, to the US Senate Committee on Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs. He co-moderated the US Senate Panel on Jan. 24, 2022, "COVID-19 A Second Opinion" led by Senator Ron Johnson.
Dr. Heather Gessling graduated from Oklahoma Christian University with a B.S. in Biochemistry and went on to medical school and residency at the University of Missouri-Columbia.
Dr. Gessling is Board Certified in Family Medicine through the American Board of Family Medicine. She was Chief of Staff at a hospital in Missouri for six years until last summer when she opened up an independent practice. She has continuously provided early outpatient treatment during the pandemic for her patients and for those whose doctors failed to treat. She did not fall prey to the propaganda of the media and governmental agencies. The pandemic opened her eyes to the corruption of the healthcare industry through governmental and pharmaceutical company influences.
She is now the owner of Gessling Family Wellness. Her new clinic utilizes the Direct Primary Care model to care for her patients without the constraints of insurance companies, enabling her to provide accessible and comprehensive care to patients. She has led many other physicians into this type of medical practice by educating them on the benefits and logistics of this model.
Dr. Heather Gessling was formerly the Director of Operations for the Pandemic Health Alliance and Global Covid Summit leading the charge on education regarding the truth about the pandemic. As COO of the Chief Medical Board for The Wellness Company, she is excited to be a part of a company that plans to implement widespread change in a broken healthcare system.
Our next esteemed member of the Chief Medical Board is Dr. Harvey Risch. Dr. Risch received his BS degree from the California Institute of Technology with a double major in mathematics and biology.
He earned his medical degree at UC San Diego. Subsequently, Dr. Risch completed his Ph.D. in biomathematics. Dr. Risch then completed a postdoctoral fellowship in cancer epidemiology at the University of Washington in Seattle. Dr. Risch has also written several op-eds in popular media, e.g., Newsweek, Wall Street Journal and Brownstone Institute.
Dr. Richard Amerling, our well-respected colleague, will lead our company in education and curriculum. He received a BS from the City College of New York and his MD at the Catholic University of Louvain in Brussels, Belgium, graduating with honors in 1981.
Dr. Amerling completed his Internship and Residency in Internal Medicine and began a Nephrology Fellowship at New York Hospital, Queens in Flushing, N.Y. In addition, he completed a Nephrology Fellowship at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia.
